Invites for the North American closed qualifier for DreamHack Masters Malmö have just been revealed by DreamHack. Half of the closed qualifier teams have just been revealed, as arguably the eight best teams playing in the North American region have received invites. Understandably teams such as Cloud9, Liquid, CLG and OpTic are amongst the invitees, joined by Renegades, Enemy and SPLYCE. The last spot went to Tempo Storm, who have found quite a lot of success in the region in the last few weeks, as they came out on top of the IEM Katowice qualifier, as well as RGN Winter Classic II. The team list is following: A total of 16 teams will battle in the closed qualifier, which will have three DreamHack Masters Malmö spots on offer, with the other eight coming from the open qualifier. The open qualifier will take place tomorrow, on February 20th, followed up by the closed qualifier the day after.
